National Pi Day

Mar 14, 15

It’s National Pi Day, the day π enthusiasts have eagerly anticipated! Well, and PIE lovers too.

To celebrate this most fortuitous of March days, why not bake a pie? The pi-sibilities are endless! You could make one of the 231 varieties of apple pie, the favorite of 36 million Americans. Or possibly pumpkin pie, which was first introduced to the holiday table at the Pilgrim’s second Thanksgiving in 1623. Or a Southern favorite, pecan pie, which is the third most popular choice in our nation of pie lovers.

We encourage all pie lovers to enjoy some pie in honor of Pi Day. Here are links to some delicious pie recipes from our Arkansas food bloggers. Also, if you have a post with a pie recipe, link it up.
